DAILYKENN.com -- Darian A. Woods, age 23, was fatally shot in Collinsville, Illinois a town east of St. Louis, Missouri. 

The murder occurred during a home invasion of an apartment, according to stlouistoday.com.

George Lacey, 25, Lacey, Adisa Smith, 27, and Demandrell Davis, 40, have been charged by authorities. 

The crime occurred November 19, 2020.

A 23-year-old man was killed Thursday evening in a home invasion in Collinsville, police said.

The Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis is investigating the shooting of Darian A. Woods.

Someone called Collinsville police to report the home invasion at an apartment in the 100 block of Crandall Street.

Police arrived to find Woods dead of what appeared to be a gunshot wound, police said.

Police say they have arrested the last of three men charged in a deadly home invasion last week in Collinsville.

Collinsville police said officers took custody of George Lacey, 25, on Friday morning. Lacey, Adisa Smith, 27, and Demandrell Davis, 40, all have been charged in last week's shooting death of Darian A. Woods, 23, in the 100 block of Crandall Street.

Lacey also faces one count of unlawful possession of weapons by a felon, authorities said. All of the men are from Belleville.
