DAILYKENN.com -- Reports say a pregnant woman was seriously injured after being beaten and kicked while she worked at a Dunkin' Donuts shop in Rochester, New York.

The incident was captured on video.

The back story of what led up to the attack was not disclosed.

Police are requesting community help to identify the suspect.

The attack occurred September 2, 2020. Police posted the video on Twitter on September 15, 2020.

• Jim Crow laws existed to prevent such assaults. Though effective in protecting white people from black violence, the laws were unfair to law abiding blacks and, consequently, were invalidated.

What do you think? Were Jim Crow laws reasonable?

• Individuals who commit such violent assaults often display the following four characteristics:

1. Low impulse control

2. Low intelligence

3. Low executive function

4. Low affective empathy

• What do you think? Are behavioral traits inheritable, as skin tone is inheritable? Or are behavioral traits and skin tone the outcome of environment? Or both?

• How would you feel if your sister, daughter, mother, aunt, friend, wife, or neighbor had been the woman in the video?

• Why are so-called "feminists" not outraged over women being violently abused in certain circumstances?
