DAILYKENN.com --A clerk at a Garden Ridge, Texas convenience store was fatally shot during a robbery. 

"Police said 40-year-old Pollyanna Smotherman of Cibolo was shot and killed while she worked at the EZ Mart," according to ksat.com.

The suspect allegedly made off with cash and lottery tickets. The crime was reported July 29, 2020.

The man, who is described as a black male in his 20s or 30s, was seen wearing a black shirt, dark pants and a red bandanna face covering.

Once inside, police say the man shot the woman and stole an undisclosed amount of cash, along with lottery tickets.
