DAILYKENN.com -- 66-year-old Donald Carlton, age 66, was shot while in his pickup truck during a robbery. Carlton died after being transported to a local hospital. 

Arrested after the crime are Derrick Holmes (male), 20, and Lashanta Williams (female), 18, on first-degree murder charges. 

The female was charged as a principal to the crime. 

"Records show she lives near the street corner where Carlton was found shot," according to wbrz.com.

Neighborhoods turn violent as they turn black. The violence results in white flight which is reframed by the far-left as white racism. 

The crime occurred in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and was reported on August 19, 2020.

Police arrested a man and woman Wednesday after they allegedly shot a man during a robbery and left him to die in his truck.

The gunfire was first reported around 1 o'clock Friday afternoon on Greenwell Street near Winchester Avenue.

According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, 66-year-old Donald Carlton was found suffering from a gunshot wound inside of his vehicle when officials arrived to the scene. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition and later died.

On Wednesday, police announced the arrests of Derrick Holmes, 20, and Lashanta Williams, 18, on first-degree murder charges. Williams was charged as a principal to the crime. Records show she lives near the street corner where Carlton was found shot.
