DAILYKENN.com -- A 75-year-old man who was beaten in a Detroit nursing home has died.
Norman Bledsoe was beaten by 20-year-old Jaydon Hayden, reports say. The assault was without provocation. The victim was sleeping when the assault began.
The death comes as Americans remain in the throws of media-induced dyspeptic hysteria after the death of career criminal George Floyd.
The beat down was video recorded by the attacker.
Both men were patients in the home. Hayden was placed there
Hayden is accused of choking a 50-year-old male worker at a group home in November, 2019 then later punching a 57-year-old man in the same facility.
Reports say that Hayden was placed in the nursing home to recover from COVID-19. Relatives "want to know why the nursing home allowed Hayden to share a room with a vulnerable senior citizen," according to wxyz.com.
Hayden reportedly began the assault while his victim was sleeping.
Bledsoe is a former police officer.
The death was reported July 27, 2020.
• The attack allows Americans to envision their future if forced to be admitted to a nursing home where white lives don't matter, let alone their safety.

Even President Donald Trump tweeted about the attack, writing in May, "Is this even possible to believe? Can this be for real? Where is this nursing home, how is the victim doing?"
Meanwhile, Haden is awaiting his day in court on two counts of assault with intent to do great bodily harm, theft, and two counts of credit card theft. WWJ Legal Analyst Charlie Langton reported it's unknown if he'll also face murder charges.
Police are investigating if there may have been other attacks as Haden's You Tube channel shows a variety of bloody fights.
