DAILYKENN.com -- A 64-year-old Connecticut man lost his life after a dispute over rent.
According to nypost.com, police were summoned to the home of Victor King after friends had not heard from him.
" Police and firefighters later forced their way into the house and discovered the grisly, bloody scene," the report said.
Facing murder charges is Jerry David Thompson, 42.
Thompson rented a room from King.
King reported Thompson to police the day prior to the victim's beheading. Thompson was accused of waving a sword at him.
The victim was retired from Farmers Insurance Company. He was a professional bridge player.
