DAILYKENN.com -- 42-year-old Christopher Bumpus was fatally shot by a coworker, police believe. 

The shooting involved a dispute over earphones while the two were working together at a construction site in Tennessee. 

Reports say Richard Bernard Nolton, 25, was arrested for allegedly shooting Bumpus in the chest. 

Reports also say Nolton admitting to shooting in the direction of his victim.

During an interview, Nolton admitted to firing the weapon at the co-worker, killing him.

During a post Miranda interview, Nolton admitted he was not supposed to be in possession of a gun due to a condition of release imposed upon him from a domestic assault arrest.

He also did not have a permit for a gun.
