DAILYKENN.com -- 23-year-old Crista Bramlitt was brutally murdered 23 years ago. The case remained unsolved until last year.
Police arrested Kenneth Hudspeth, 48, through DNA evidence, reports say.
It all began when police descended on a trailer park in Clarksville, Tennessee in 1996. They found Crista dead in a mobile home. Evidence pointed to sexual assault and homicide.
The suspect was found in Phoenix, Arizona more than two decades later and extradited to Tennessee.
According to wsmv.com, "Hudspeth reportedly flew under the radar and was not known to investigators at the time of the homicide."
Hudspeth "has had numerous arrests over the years since the homicide including two prison stints in Texas and Arizona," the reports says.
We wonder if he has committed other homicides for which he has not been arrested.
The 'me too' movement has been silent in some sexual assault cases, including many that have resulted in homicide.
What do you think? Why is the 'me too' movement not expressing outrage at the rape of murder of a 23-year-old woman?
