Democrat 'splains away Trump's record

January 31, 2020 -- Dozens are calling for the resignation of a Kentucky state senator after he referred to Virginia's governor as “Governor Ralph ‘Coon-Man’ Northam.” 

The Facebook post was intended to draw attention to the governor's college exploits which included wearing blackface at an event. 

Blackface and the word 'coon' are both considered racist, though no one seems to know why they are defamatory.
