DAILYKENN.com -- Silva Koshwal was sentenced to at least 18 years in prison in Canada. After that he may request parole.
Koshwal was convicted of stabbing 38-year-old Nadine Skow 101 times. Koshwal, also 38, was previously jailed for sexual assault in 2010 and placed on probation for assault in 2006 [source].

The Aug. 24, 2015, murder was one of Edmonton’s most gruesome in recent memory. Skow was stabbed over 100 times, the majority of the wounds inflicted while she was still alive. First responders found her heart pinned to a bedroom wall with a knife. Five of her organs had been removed from her body, including the ovaries, uterus and part of a lung.*
