DAILYKENN.com -- Jamie R. Riley has resigned. The University of Alabama’s assistant vice president and dean of students quit after real-news outlet, breitbart.com, outed the official's past posts on Twitter that associated the American flag with racism.
“The [American flag emoji] flag represents a systemic history of racism for my people,” Riley wrote in the post. “Police are a part of that system. Is it that hard to see the correlation?”
• We tend to find what we're looking for (Kenn's Law #8) and if what you are looking for is racism, that's what you will find. Others, on the other hand, realize that black Americans have a higher standard of living than blacks living in other nations. And it's improving. Black unemployment fell to an all-time low in August, 2019.
This may explain why black Americans are not fleeing to Africa. The USA is home to the world's second largest black population outside Africa. Brazil is home to the largest.
• According to payscale.com, "The average pay for a Dean Of Students (University) is $96,843 per year." According to global-growing.org, the average annual income in Sub-Saharan Africa is $2,041.
• The far left seems to have an affinity for the term "systemic." Apparently, they believe the term lends the credibility of a fake academic and scholarly ring to their myths.
• Riley seems to think whites have never experienced racism and, consequently, don't understand it. Actually, any white person who spent four years in a majority black high has experienced racial hatred in its most vile, hateful, and violent form. Any white person can experience the evils of racism simply by strolling through a black housing project; particularly at night. Each year hundreds of innocent white Americans are killed by black thugs. A few of these are documented at abatehate.com. Riley may want to consider that his abuse of the r-word when referring to whites is the equivalent of the n-word when referring to blacks. Every white person who was subjected to Riley's hate speech experienced racism.
