DAILYKENN.com -- Some illegal aliens living in detention centers are nonplussed due to the lack of free medical attention. That frustration came to fruition as a law suit was filed in a U.S. District Court apparently against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
The complaints were apparently lodged by illegal aliens who are fighting deportation. One alien claimed he was not receiving medication for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Another complained that he was forced to rely on officers to bring him food after a short time spent without a wheelchair.
The report admitted, however, "An agency official said comprehensive medical care is provided to all detainees including dental and 24-hour emergency care."
The report seemed to suggest that about 55,000 "immigrants" — the far-left's misnomer for illegal aliens — are matriculated in detention centers daily.
The suit was apparently filed by a group of organizations in behalf of 15 aliens hailing from diverse nations including Mexico and Sudan.
Oddly, many of the aliens pay huge sums to be smuggled into the USA, particularly those from sub-Saharan Africa, yet lack the funds to care for themselves.
