DAILYKENN.com --Joseph Alcoff, the antifa leader arrested after two Hispanic Marines were mob attacked in Philadelphia, apparently has strong ties to notable far-left Democrats.
Alcoff was allegedly part of a mob that attacked two Marines who were sightseeing in Philadelphia. The mob suspected the Marines were connected with a nearby Proud Boys rally.
Among the notable far-left extremists associated with Alcoff are Rep. Maxine Waters and Sen. Sherrod Brown, both moonbats in their own right.
• How leftist logic works:
First, the far left determines that racism is the ultimate evil. It trumps everything from child molestation to homicide on the scale of moral destitution.
Second, the far left accuses groups and individuals it doesn't like of racism. That gives the left a pretext to attack those groups and individuals.
Third, the far left attacks those they have deemed "racist."
• While the far left exagerates the racism of patriotic groups and individuals, it embraces genuine hate groups such as Islam and antifa.
• We wonder how Alcoff is faring while incarcerated. Jails and prisons are notoriously self-segregated as matter of survival.
From Fox News ▼
while Democratic officials are distancing themselves from Alcoff now, until recently he was a well-connected, aspiring political player in Washington who may have even had a hand in key policy proposals.
His endorsement apparently mattered when several congressional Democrats in February 2018 issued press releases with his quote backing their bill on regulating payday lenders.
As the payday campaign manager for the liberal group Americans for Financial Reform, Alcoff participated in congressional Democratic press conferences, was a guest on a House Democratic podcast and met with senior officials at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau from 2016 through 2018.
