DAILYKENN.com -- Damned if you do. Damned if you don't.

Damned if you do: Authorities are accused of racism when they disproportionately arrest blacks relative to arrests of whites. When more blacks than whites are arrested, it's chalked up to racial profiling.

Damned if you don't: However, authorities are also accused of racism when they disproportionately arrest whites relative to arrests of blacks. When more whites than blacks are arrested, it's evidence of systemic racism.

The misguided logic follows this path: Authorities investigate and arrest more violent whites than blacks, allowing black violence to persist. Considering most victims of black offenders are black themselves, authorities are complicit to the violence by intentional negligence.

Here's a case in point.

"When a black or Hispanic person is fatally shot," we read, "the likelihood that local detectives will catch the culprit is 35%." [source]

In other words a black criminal has a 65 percent change of literally getting away with murder. Odds are a black killer can rack up three homicides before getting caught.

The odds are significantly lower for white killers; 18 percentage points fewer than black killers according to our source. That translates into white privilege in the minds of members of the cultural Marxism cult (CMC). Of course, if whites were less likely to be caught, that also would be chalked up to systemic racism.

Keep those statistics in mind the next time a leftist loon complains that blacks are unfairly arrested and successfully prosecuted. Statistically, the odds are actually in their favor by 18 percentage point according to buzzfeednews.com

When blacks are disproportionately arrested, it's racial profiling.

When whites are disproportionately arrested, it racist negligence.

Either way the far left will always spin statistics to 'prove' systemic white racism.

America does not have a gun problem. America has a black savage problem compounded by systemic anti-white racism that prefers blacks over whites.

As I've noticed elsewhere, there are two legal means white racists can employ to kill blacks in large numbers. One is abortion. The other is to compel police to stand down and allow black-on-black violence to persist.

From buzzfeednews.com  ▼

A yearlong investigation by The Trace and BuzzFeed News, based on data obtained from 22 cities, has found that:

• In cities from coast to coast, the odds that police will solve a shooting are abysmally low and dropping. Homicides and assaults carried out with guns lead to arrests about half as often as when the same crimes are committed using other weapons or physical force.

• The odds of an arrest are particularly low when victims survive, in part because those crimes tend to be assigned to detectives whose caseloads are exponentially higher compared to their colleagues in the homicide department, who are often overburdened themselves.

• The chances are even lower if the victims, like Little, are people of color. When a black or Hispanic person is fatally shot, the likelihood that local detectives will catch the culprit is 35% — 18 percentage points fewer than when the victim is white. For gun assaults, the arrest rate is 21% if the victim is black or Hispanic, versus 37% for white victims.

By failing to solve so many shootings, police are “missing a potential opportunity to stop cascades of gun violence,” said Andrew Papachristos, a professor of sociology at Northwestern University.
