DAILYKENN.com -- Pastor Antonio Rocquemore of Power House International Ministries is under fire for asking a man in woman's clothing to go home and put on man's clothes.

The pastor's request was polite but firm, was made from the church platform during a church service, and was video recorded. Parishioners applauded the pastor.

Critics complain that all should be welcomed and that embarrassing the man in front of a crowd could lead to suicide.

Then, again, where does one draw the line? Had the same man showed up naked would critics belittle the pastor for asking him to leave?

A lesbian couple reportedly has been visiting bakeries in an effort to discover Christians who refuse to bake cakes that violate the store-owners' conviction. The man in drag may have set up the pastor to shame him and his congregation.

A Chicago pastor who asked a man dressed in drag to leave a worship service because he was dressed like a woman stands by his actions after coming under fire.

A Facebook video of the Sunday night encounter shows Antonio Rocquemore of Power House International Ministries asking the unidentified man to step out into the aisle.

“Can you leave my church and go put on man clothes? And don’t come here like that no more,” Rocquemore can be seen telling the man in the video, posted by Christian James Lhuillier.

“i hold a standard in here. Whatever you do on the outside is your business, but I will not let drag queens come in here. If you’re gonna come in here you’re gonna dress like a man.”
