DAILYKENN.com -- Murphy Brown's second episode finds the left-wing eponymous character sneaking into a White House news briefing where real clips of Sarah Sanders are stitched together Frankenstein style with the delusions of Hollywood script writers.
The outcome is an alternate portrayal of reality. It provides real-time anthropologists and psychologists an opportunity to observe the dysfunctional meanderings of far-left thought patterns.
While you and I live in a real world, the far left insists on existing in an alternate reality that smacks of insanity. Our world is comprised of everyday experiences. Their world is contrived on Hollywood sound stages. Their fake world is spawned in minds seeded with silly notions of Marxist dogma, grown into a reality-defying psychosis, and expressed through TV sitcoms, drama series, biased news reports, even more biased talk shows, and, of course, the cinema. We watch, listen, and absorb. We use their words as our minds are immersed in their delusions. In time we abandon reality and become one of them.
Think about it. All fiction is an alternate reality; whether it be presented as a sitcom or packaged as a CNN news story.
