Jackie Trad, the Deputy Premier of the Australian state of Queensland, praised the blue-lit bridges as a celebration. The state's legislative body recently made pre-natal baby killing legal.
However, the blue lights had nothing to do with abortion. Rather the blue lights were to draw attention to Rett Syndrome.
Trad's post on Twitter was not removed even after the error was revealed.
