DAILYKENN.com -- If diversity is our strength, why is the far left ecstatic over the displacement of a white prosecutor by a black male in Ferguson, Missouri?
The answer: Diversity is not a strength. Identity is a strength.
To take away a community's sense of racial or ethnic community is to sap that community of its life force.
Voters in 67-percent-black Ferguson, Missouri and the county in which the community resides replaced the jurisdiction's white prosecuting attorney with a black male; Ferguson Councilman Wesley Bell.
Bell defeated seven-term Bob McCullock in the primary. There is no Republican challenger.
McCullock refused to prosecute the white police officer who fatally shot Michael Brown, a black teen, when Brown attacked him.
