July 24, 2018 -- Recall the days of yore (2016) when pundits peddled the notion that Donald Trump would divide and destroy the Republican Party.

Fast forward two years and discover that, with one exception, Trump is enjoying the highest approval rating among party members of any president since -- and including -- Dwight Eisenhower. George Bush was the exception in the immediate aftermath of the 9-11 attacks.

Trump enjoys an 88% approval rating from Republicans—the split is 64% who strongly approve and 24% who somewhat approve. Among recent presidents, only George W. Bush in the immediate aftermath of the 9/11 attacks has had a higher percentage within his own party, at 96%. That contrasts with the 9% of Democrats who approve of Trump. [source]

His overall approval rating among all Americans climbed to 45 percent.

Americans like what Trump is doing and what Trump is doing is combating anti-American aliens. The president has ramped up the game by going after legal aliens who lied during the citizenship process.

The Trump administration is stepping up efforts to curb legal immigration, taking a series of actions in recent weeks that could lead to deportation for people already granted citizenship.

The director of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) — an office established in 2003 to process immigrant applications for visas, work permits, green cards and citizenship — told The Associated Press recently that the agency is hiring dozens of lawyers and immigration officers to review cases of immigrants who are suspected of having lied to officials during the naturalization process.
