An 81-year-old man was sucker punched while walking in the Bronx during an unprovoked attack, police say.

The incident happened on July 15, in front of 698 Courtlandt Ave. around 11:10 p.m.

Police say the man was walking when he was punched once in the face by a suspect who approached the 81-year-old.

The suspect ran away after the incident and did not take anything from the victim.

Police say the man was transported to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.

The two men do not know one another, police say.

The suspect is described as having curly black hair and was last seen wearing a black-colored T-shirt, black-colored shorts and white-colored sneakers.
