Charges are expected to be filed against a Green Bay man in connection to the Oct. 14 beating and robbery of a woman as she locked up a bar on Broadway.
Green Bay police on Tuesday said they have arrested Anthony D. Oliver, 53, and are seeking to have him charged with armed robbery, aggravated battery and obstructing police.
According to a news release, the woman was assaulted in the parking lot of the Jekyll and Hyde Bar, 226 S. Broadway, at 3:30 a.m. Oct. 14. The attack left the woman with severe head injuries that required hospitalization.
She had just finished locking up the tavern.
Surveillance video helped police identify the suspect's vehicle and eventually arrest Oliver.
He is being held in the Winnebago County Jail on a probation hold.
