December 22, 2017 -- Ever notice the media seldom (if ever) refers to them as "attacks"?

Rather, it's always described as a "fight," implying that both parties are to blame.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll sit back and sip on my tea while awaiting the "feminists" to express their outrage that a woman would be submitted to the ultimate abuse: murder.

Update: 3:00 a.m. Still sipping.

Man killed pregnant girlfriend because he didn’t want child: mom

A man who “didn’t want a child” killed his pregnant girlfriend during a fight in their Staten Island apartment early Thursday, according to a published report and police.

Bridget Shenk, 35, was shot in the chest as she and boyfriend Keith Jackson were having a heated argument in the hallway of their Trantor Place apartment in Port Richmond just after midnight.

Shenk stumbled back into the apartment, where she was found dead in a pool of blood, officials said.

She was several months pregnant, police said.

Jackson was arrested at the scene and charged with murder and possession of a weapon.

Police said it’s not clear what started the fight.

Shenk’s mother told PIX 11 her daughter was looking forward to being a parent, but that Jackson did not want to have a child.

“She always wanted a child. He didn’t want a child,” said Dorothy McLeod. “When they found out she was pregnant, she was so excited. I went with her on Monday to the doctor.”

McLeod told the TV station the couple had recently discussed splitting up. She said her daughter “was trying to establish a better life for her child” and had asked Jackson to move out.
