A year after America elected Donald Trump, leftist extremists promised a day of protests and violence scheduled for November 4. It was reminiscent of the "Jesus is coming September 23" warning. Nothing burger.
Why the no show?
Maybe it was the rain. Maybe it was the improved economy. Maybe it was the efforts to stem illegal immigration and Islamic invasion. Maybe it was the record low unemployment rate. Maybe the parents of antifa supporters kicked them out of their homes and made them get jobs.

Trump protesters march in Loop: 'What is happening now is so horrible'
More than 100 protesters marched in a light rain through Chicago's Loop to Trump Tower on Saturday, part of demonstrations in more than a dozen cities scheduled nearly a year after President Donald Trump’s election.
The protestors, who carried signs reading “The Trump/Pence Regime MUST GO!” first rallied at Federal Plaza, at Adams and Dearborn streets, then marched north on State Street. They were outnumbered by uniformed police officers, many on bicycles, who lined the entire route.
