DAILYKENN.com -- A cold-case, black-on-white murder has come to a conclusion with the arrest of Robert Mathis II.
Under Western law, Mathis is considered innocent until proven guilty and will be offered a fair trial before a jury of his peers.
He is accused of murdering 31-year-old Jennifer Molnar in 2011 in Toledo, Ohio.
According to wtol.com, "Toledo Police say Mathis called 911 on June 8, 2011. He told them he found Molnar in the basement of their home next to the hot water heater in water. He said he moved her upstairs in an attempt to revive her. Detectives from the investigation said Molnar suffered blunt force trauma."
According to toledoblade.com, "Ms. Molnar appeared to be severely beaten all over her body, said Toledo police Capt. Wes Bombrys."
