DAILYKENN.com -- De'Ron Keith Lucas, 20, is the fourth black male charged with murder of a white Marine, according to wbrc.com.
Mike Gilotti was fatally shot at 5 a.m. as he left home to workout at a local gym in January, 2016.
Gilotti was married and the father of two.
The crime occurred in Hoover, Alabama.
A Hoover husband and father gunned down outside his home on the way to the gym was shot in the back, according to court documents recently made public.
Mike Gilotti, a 33-year-old Iraq war veteran, was killed Jan. 5. A Bessemer teen – 16-year-old Charleston Wells – has been charged with murder in the slaying and Hoover investigators promise more arrests are to come. The newly-released court records detail some of the evidence against Wells, a timeline of events that led up to Gilotti's murder and the role of another teen, De'Ron Lucas, in a string of car thefts in the Tuscaloosa area just hours before the slaying in Hoover.
Lucas, 19, is charged with 10 counts of unlawful breaking and entering, and one count of first-degree theft of property in Tuscaloosa County, court records show. He has not been charged with murder or any crimes in Jefferson County.

Gilotti was shot to death about 4:55 a.m. just outside his home in the 5500 block of Park Side Circle in Hoover's Lake Cyrus subdivision. He was heading to the gym for a morning workout when police say he encountered one or more suspects breaking into his car. According to the affidavit used to secure the murder warrant against Wells, his wife, Heather Gilotti, heard two gunshots and then heard a vehicle "with a large engine" pulling away from the scene.
Gilotti collapsed on his doorstep. He was later pronounced dead on the scene.
