July 28, 2016 -- An African in America with an African name and tribal scars on his forehead was arrested in Vermont on charges of sexual assault.

Reports say three persons driving in Burlington, Vermont observed a rape in progress near the driveway of a home. The passersby stopped the rape and called police.

Arrested was Garang Ayang, 37, who denied the charges of sexual assault.

The three people told authorities they saw Ayang on top of the female on a cement pad next to a driveway off Monroe Street when they were driving home from a concert shortly after 3 a.m.. When the witnesses stopped their car and approached, one witness said the woman said "non-consensual" several times, but was severely incapacitated. Another witness said he heard the woman say "get him off me," according to Holden's affidavit.

When one witness asked Ayang what was happening, he replied, "Nothing," according to the affidavit.

The witnesses called the police and stayed with the suspect and victim until authorities arrived.
Vermont, home of socialist and self-proclaimed anti-racist crusading US Sentor Bernie Sanders, is 95.5 percent white and about 1.5 percent black, making it the second whitest state in the nation. Excluding Hispanics and Latinos, the state is 94.3 percent white.

Nonetheless, it is no haven from black violent crime.

The crime was reported July 27, 2016.
