April 5, 2016 -- Some of us work for a living. We hold down jobs, create businesses, and pay taxes.

We are the hosts.

Others steal for a living. They take from those of us who hold down jobs, create businesses and pay taxes.

They are the parasites.

Sometimes parasites kill their hosts.

Such was the case in New York City were a parasite stole a truck from a business owner. The thief then ran down the business owner with his own truck.

White lives matter?
Anthony Dellegrazie kneels over the
covered body his dad, a victim of a
robbery in Brooklyn on Monday.
The business owner was killed.

Arrested for the crime is a black male, Joshua Colon.

Dead is a white business owner, Phil Dellegrazie.

We the races reversed the national media would endlessly cite racism as the hidden motive behind the murder.

Because the crime is black-on-white, the media will ridicule those who suggest there may have been a racist motive and will condemn those of us who claim 'white lives matter' or 'all lives matter' as bigots.

A son knelt beside his beloved father’s body in the middle of a Brooklyn street on Monday — clutching his dad’s cap — after the man was mowed down trying to stop a thief.

“All you’re going to hear is good things,’’ Anthony Dellegrazie told The Post through tears when asked about his father, Phil, 63.

“[Dellegrazie’s] sons came in their truck,’’ Rodriguez said. “The younger son, Anthony, asked me, ‘Hey, what happened?’ I said, ‘Your father had an accident. He died.’ He got out of the truck and ran to his father. He was crying.’’

Anthony Dellegrazie’s Instagram account is peppered with admiration for his tough-as-nails father. One photo posted to the account shows a smiling Phil Dellegrazie working in his 24th Street shop.

“Real reason why I love working Saturdays, just to spend extra time with my father,’’ the son had written in the caption.

“He’s the hardest worker that I know and hopefully one day I can be half the man he is. Couldn’t have asked for a better father, he’s my inspiration and what motivates me everyday. Couldn’t say anything bad about him, he’s truly amazing. I love this guy.”
