DAILYKENN.com -- The government forces you to entrust your children to their agents for up to 200 days per year.
In one state, Connecticut, that translates into effectively being forced to hand your children over to pedophiles.
Since 2005 there have been sixty teachers in that state charged with sexual misconduct.
The mainstream media are hiding the extent of the abuse [see here].
Six former and current teachers and a teacher’s aide from districts across the state were scheduled to appear in state court last week on charges alleging they engaged in sexual misconduct with students.
From Tuesday through Friday, at least one former or current teacher was scheduled to appear in court each day.
One of the teachers, Kirvanna Jones, 24, is on administrative leave from her teaching position at New Haven’s Engineering Science University Magnet School. Jones is accused of having sexual intercourse with a then 15-year-old student, and is charged with second-degree sexual assault, according to police.
The other five are: Kayla Mooney, of Danbury High School(March 29); teacher’s aide Kyle Damato-Kushel, of Stratford’s Wooster Middle School(March 31); Theron Kissinger, of Staples High School (March 31); Allison Marchese, of Madison’s Daniel Hand High School(March 31); and David Marchetti, of Norwalk’s Brien McMahon High School(April 1).
The teachers’ stacked court appearances underscore a disconcerting reality: Last year, at least nine teachers in the state were arrested and charged for crimes involving inappropriate relationships or contact with students.
Mooney is charged with second-degree sexual assault; Damato-Kushel is charged with second- and fourth-degree sexual assault, among other charges; Kissinger is charged with fourth-degree sexual assault; Marchese is charged with second-degree sexual assault; Marchetti is charged with four counts voyeurism for allegedly taking inappropriate photos of female students. Jones, Marchetti, Marchese, and Damato-Kushel also are charged with risk of injury to a minor, state records show.
