DAILYKENN.com -- The body of a four-year-old girl thought to be Savannah Walker was found in a burned-out vacant Detroit house.
The body of a woman, thought to be the girl's mother, was also found.
Police are searching for a black male — Marcus Hightower — with whom the mother had an abusive relationship.
It appears the little girl paid the ultimate price for her mother's relationship with an urban savage.

The home is in the 4700 block of Lakeview Street near Forest Avenue. Police were called to the scene around 6 a.m.
Detroit police did not confirm the identities of the woman and the girl, but initially said it was likely to be Savannah and her mother. Hours later, Police Chief James Craig and Michigan State Police clarified that the identities were not confirmed.
“We have not confirmed the identity of the female and the child that were found in the house that was burned,” Craig said. “Preliminarily, we believe it could be the missing mother and daughter, but we haven’t confirmed that.”
Savannah and her mother were reported missing Tuesday. Savannah’s older sister reported the two of them missing in Livingston County. They are residents of Howell.
The older sister tells Local 4, she told police Tuesday she believed her mother had been killed by someone.
