DAILYKENN.com -- It's unusual for the media to profile a murder victim by race, particularly when the victim is white and the suspect is black.
Nonetheless, LaTimes.com reported yesterday:
Emily Anna Fox, a 22-year-old white woman, was shot and killed Sunday, Jan. 17 in the 7600 block of Oso Avenue in Winnetka, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
KTLA.com reports that Fox's former boyfriend, Brian Anthony Gonzales, 24, is the prime suspect in the murder.
Also murdered in the double homicide was Jerrad Cardae Scott who was Fox's current boyfriend, according to news reports.

Homicide detectives on Monday have identified a suspect in a double shooting that left the alleged killer's 22-year-old ex-girlfriend and a 24-year-old man dead in Winnetka, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Brian Anthony Gonzales, 24, was wanted in connection with the fatal shootings, which occurred about 4:20 p.m. Sunday in the 7600 block of Oso Avenue, LAPD said in a news release.
Gonzales is the ex-boyfriend of the female victim, according to the release.
Based on the preliminary investigation, police said the female victim had called 911 to report that her ex-boyfriend was at her residence and had a gun.
By the time officers arrived at the location, they found the victims unresponsive with gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced dead at the scene, a unit of an apartment building.
LAPD Capt. Alan Hamilton said on Sunday that the pair had been shot multiple times.
