December 17, 2015 -- The furor caused by Sam's Club's CEO doesn't seem to be subsiding.

Rosalind Brewer expressed horror that suppliers often hire white males.

“Just today we met with a supplier, and the entire other side of the table was all Caucasian males,” s he told CNN.

Brewer continued by disclosing that diversity was her priority for her executive team. Apparently diversity takes priority over talent. That translates into racial discrimination and poor management. If her criteria for hiring were character content rather than skin color, would her executive team still be diverse? Would it be mostly white males? Black females?

Her statement was an unwitting admission that to create a diverse hiring environment, one must set aside talent and character content to hire person who not white males. That, in turn, implies that those who are not white males are lacking in both talent and character.

Isn't that discrimination?

The Twitter hashtag is #BoycottRacistSamsClub.

Brewer has apparently forgotten that her company's namesake, Sam Walton, was a white male and virtually all of the products the company sells are inventions of white people. Were it not for Western innovation, the world's economic infrastructure would collapse and, in due time, that may occur.

  1. I am a white adult male, I assume if I am not diverse enough to be a supplier and am not diverse enough to be a customer. Meh, too bad.

  2. My local Sam's is always filthy and poorly run - I guess that's because of "diversity."
