That's the policy at Fourth Street Live! in Louisville, Ky.
Nonetheless, some black patrons continue to complain that they are victims of racial discrimination
Fourth Street Live! bills itself as "Louisville's premier dining and entertainment destination located in the heart of historic downtown Louisville."
In addition to its dress code, the establishment also demands patron behave themselves. Disorderly conduct will get you the boot. Profanity is also banned, both spoken and imprinted on clothing.
Pants worn below the hips is cause for being bounced.
Does it all add up to an excuse to discriminate against blacks?
Al Sharpton's National Action Network released a report this week griping about Fourth Street Live! and complaining the Louisville civil rights activists have received hush money.
I recommend a group of well-behaved white guys walk in the establishment wearing sleeveless shirts, drooping drawers, or shirts with long tails with the express purpose of being refused entry. The demonstration will verify that the policies of Fourth Street Live! are based on character content rather than color of skin.
