August 19, 2015 -- A 16-year-old black male was murdered last year.

The reason?

Ontario Brown Jr. refused to give his designer belt to the killer, 17-year-old Keenan Mardis.

News reports say that the victim and a friend were attacked by a black pack of five teens.

When Mardis demanded Brown surrender his $300 belt, the victim refused. Mardis shot. Brown fell dead.

And the rest is not history.

The national mainstream Marxist media will not report the murder of the 16-year-old Brown because it doesn't fit the cultural Marxism narrative.

Consider the media continues to buzz over the death of Trayvon Martin in 2012. Martin was killed in self-defense. Nontheless, the media force-fitted the tragedy into a narrative of black victimization.

Had Brown been killed in self defense by a "white Hispanic," we'd hear about it for decades. The story would be etched in our history texts for future generations to weep over the plight of people of color in America.

Again, the death of the unarmed Ontario Brown doesn't fit the narrative. There are literally hundreds of thousands of similar tales in which unarmed black American lose their lives to black violence.

These are murders that cannot be exploited by the predatory left. Consequently, their lives don't matter.

The crime occurred in Elkhart, Indiana, Dec. 19, 2014.

The report of the conviction was posted August 18, 2015.

After two hours of deliberation, a jury convicted 17-year-old Keenan Mardis of murder Tuesday in connection with the shooting of 16-year-old Ontario Brown Jr.

The guilty verdict stems from the fatal shooting of Brown on Dec. 19, 2014, at Elkhart’s Washington Gardens apartment complex. Mardis’ trial began Monday with jury selection and opening statements, and ended at about 5:40 p.m. Tuesday in Elkhart County Circuit Court.

An argument over a designer belt may have directly preceded Brown’s death, according to testimony.

Lenell Williams, 16, testified he and Brown walked to a friend’s home in Washington Gardens the night of the shooting. After they left the friend, the two boys were approached on Wagner Avenue by a group of five people, including Mardis and another juvenile, Zirei Jackson.

Jackson and Brown, who are said to have dated the same girl, argued and threw a few punches, but no one was hurt, according to Williams. He told the court that during the fight, Mardis said he would take Brown’s designer belt, worth about $300, when Jackson knocked Brown out.

Williams said he felt threatened by the group. When the fight ended, Williams said he told Brown they should leave and walked about 30 steps away to pick up Brown’s jacket. That’s when Mardis pulled a revolver, he said.

Mardis demanded Brown’s belt and Brown refused, Williams said. Williams testified he heard someone tell Mardis to shoot.

Mardis shot, Brown fell, and everyone ran, Williams said.

  1. Well, if the MSM reported the death of every negro killed by another negro, there'd be no room for anything else.
