I call him the global-warming guru.
Rajendra Pachauri, a 75-year-old Nobel Peace Prize winner, is being investigated for sexual harassment charges.
News reports say Pachauri has been accused of sexual harassment by a 29-year-old researcher at his organisation. The unwanted advances were made via the internet.
Pachauri countered the charges by saying he is a victim of hacking.
Conservative recognize that the climate change myth began in the early 1970s when the predatory left spread rumors of an impending nuclear winter. The strategy was changed to alarming the gullible with hand-wringing over global warming caused by free-market capitalism's pollution. As science has refuted much of those claims, the left has re-branded the fear mongering as 'climate change,' allowing every anomaly in weather to be the effect of pollution caused by developed nations.
The object has never been to protect the environment. It has always been to decrease the economic disparity between developed nations and third-world nations by tampering with technological advantages enjoyed by free-market economies.

Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) issued an official statement late on Saturday evening that Dr Rajendra K Pachauri will not be travelling to Nairobi on Sunday for an international climate conference.
"The chairman of IPCC, Rajendra K Pachauri will be unable to chair the plenary session of the IPCC in Nairobi next week because of issues demanding his attention in India." Even Pachauri's office confirmed that he won't be travelling.
"Dr Pachauri is committed to provide all assistance and cooperation to the authorities in their ongoing investigations," said the spokesperson for Pachauri.
The move comes a day after the complainant in the case of sexual harassment against Pachauri requested the Delhi Police to direct Pachauri, who is also the director general of The Energy and Resources Institute (Teri), to deposit his passport with it.
The 29-year-old woman employee of Teri, who had registered the case of sexual harassment against Pachauri, has submitted an application to Delhi Police claiming that she feared that the evidence, including the mobile phones and computers, may be destroyed before being seized by the police.
