From our news source we read:
An American judge has ordered the US military to halt the force-feeding of an inmate who's on hunger strike at the notorious Guantanamo prison.
Gladys Kessler says Syrian detainee Abui Wa'el Dhiab must not be force-fed at least until a hearing set for Wednesday. She's also ordered authorities to preserve for the court session, all videotapes that show forcible cell extractions and force-feeding.
It's the first time that a judge has issued such an order. Human rights activists and doctors have slammed the practice as a violation of personal liberties and medical ethics. The procedure involves feeding hunger striking prisoners via tubes inserted into their noses and down into their stomachs.
