Those, of course, are not absolute.
There are 240 police officers on the island who occupy ten stations that service five regions. Considering the officers don't work 24-hour shifts, seven day per week, you may find it difficult to locate one outside tourist areas.
A recent tweet from the police department warned residents of a lane closing due to a fallen rock.
To say there is no crime on the island would be misleading. The crime rate is actually 31.4 crimes per 1,000 people (compared to 76 per 1,000 in England and Wales.) The police deal with everything from persons borrowing cars without owners' consent, occasional tiffs and fisticuffs among the locals, and old folks running off from care facilities. Drug trafficking had presented itself as a problem, but the police largely quelled the problem by putting the bad guys in their 144-bed prison. There was one murder in November.
The Island has the lowest crime rate in all of Britain (note that the island is technically a self-governing entity.)
Living on the Isle of Man does not guarantee a job. Still, most of the residents rise early every morning and engage is employment of some kind. The unemployment rate in March, 2013 rose to 2.7 percent, the highest in seventeen years. The latest report, issued October, 2013, revealed there were 706 men out of jobs and 316 women. [source]
Truth be told the Isle of Man actually is a multicultural society. Many homies can trace their ancestry back to England, Wales, and Ireland. Wikipedia list them as Manx (natives) and Britons.
• What's more...
A street view of the Island by of Google maps reveals well-kept houses, tidy shops, and a beach full of fat white people. Paradise indeed.
The island also has a motto: Whithersoever you throw it, it will stand. We have no idea what that means, but our research reveals the motto has been held dear by the resident since at least 1300 AD. If you are fortunate enough to visit the Isle of Man, make it a point to ask its meaning.
So if you have an interest in experiencing a last vestige of pre-multicultural Western civilization before it becomes forever extinct, the Isle of Man is one of a very few places to visit.
