Jesse Jackson whipped out his race card and added "women and gays" to lamblast Phil Robertson's politically incorrect statement regarding homosexuality.

Jackson also showed his ignorance.

In comparing Robertson to the driver of Rosa Park's bus, Jackson said that, at least, the driver was obeying state law.

The driver who demanded Parks surrender her seat was acting on his own volition -- like an airline hostess who is empowered with authority when you are on a commercial flight.

The black seats in the bus were filled, allowing Rosa the right to sit where she was sitting. There was no Jim Crow law -- state or local -- that she was breaking. Rather, it was the arbitrary decision of the bus driver (with whom Rosa had previously encountered in a dispute), who ordered Rosa and few other blacks to clear out. The others complied. Rosa did not.

It was not Jim Crow laws that made Rosa move. It was a bully bus driver!

How shameful that Jackson is so utterly ignorant of so-called "civil rights" history!

Jesse Jackson Sr. responds to 'Duck Dynasty' star's comments

Jesse Jackson Sr. has jumped into the controversy surrounding comments by Phil Robertson, star of A&E’s backwoods reality TV show, “Duck Dynasty.”

In an announcement sent out Tuesday, Jackson Sr. compared Robertson’s recent comments about African-Americans, gay people and women to comments made by the driver of Rosa Parks’ bus.

"At least the bus driver, who ordered Rosa Parks to surrender her seat to a white person, was following state law,” he said in the release. “Robertson's statements were uttered freely and openly without cover of the law, within a context of what he seemed to believe was ‘white privilege.’”

Jackson’s human rights group, the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, has demanded meetings with A&E and with Cracker Barrel regarding the two companies’ treatment of Robertson, who stars in the show as the head of a Louisiana family that makes duck calls.

Jackson’s group, along with LGBT group GLAAD and the National Organization for Women, urged A&E to keep Robertson on an indefinite hiatus from the show, which the network started following Robertson’s comments criticizing homosexuality in an interview with GQ magazine.

Cracker Barrel removed Duck Dynasty items from its shelves and then put them back Sunday after customers protested, according to a Cracker Barrel news release.

  1. Ol` Jesse "SPIT" Jackson does nothing he`s not allowed to. In turn, he gets into places he wants only because the activist judges, mostly women and Jews, stand behind most anything he tries to pull off. Proof of this is that you don`t hear hide nor hair of his skillet licking arse on the knockout phenomenon, where whites are the victims. So much for "CIVIL RIGHTS."

  2. I love the site but wish you would stick that annoying facebook popup in your obama.

  3. Why do people care what Jesse Jackson thinks?Who keeps calling this guy to get his opinion?

  4. Jesse Jackson is a joke, who cares what he thinks? His opinion is worthless.
