There's nothing wrong with playing second fiddle; providing it comes with a paycheck.
My guess is that Mike Huckabee snagged a lucrative deal when signed on to compete with Rush Limbaugh.
Aside from Limbaugh being smitten by some unforeseen physical ailment, Huckabee will have to rest content with sub-Rush ratings. I would be. Give me a million dollar contract and I'll enter the fray.
While Huckabee's presence on the radio dial will do little to deplete Limbaugh's audience, it will provide the conservative movement a road block during the noon to 3 p.m. time slot. Conservatives win. Huckabee wins. Limbaugh stays about the same. Liberals lose.
