DAILYKENN.com -- Sen. Elizabeth Warren — disaffectionately known as 'Pocahontas' — received potentially devastating news: Only 44 percent of her constituents think she deserves to be re-elected while a plurality 46 percent believe she doesn't deserve a second term.
Pocahontas represents Massachusetts, a tiny ideological island dominated by Boston Democrats. Democrats outnumber Republicans by more than 3 to 1 and many of the Republicans lean hard to the left.
The poll taken by WBUR reveals that Massachusetts governor Charlie Baker is more popular than Pocahontas.
Warren is considered a leading contender to represent her party in the 2020 presidential election. First, however, she has to win re-election to her Senate seat.
