DAILYKENN.com -- Nearly three years after 20-year-old Trey Kurtz was murdered, four suspects are being brought to trial. All four of the defendants are black males. Kurtz was white. 

Charged with murder are 19-year old Michael Charles Dixon Jr., 18-year old J.B. Wright, 18-year old Deperrion Lott, and 20-year old Jordan Alexander Graves, all of Brenham, have been charged with murder.

Kurtz was effectively executed with a shot to the head in Brenham, Texas. He was a student at Blinn College.  

The crime occurred in 2014. 

According to kwhi.com:

Kurtz’ body was discovered lying in the intersection of Seelhorst and Dark Streets near downtown Brenham just before midnight on October 30, 2014. He was pronounced dead at the scene from a single gunshot wound to the head.
