DAILYKENN.com -- A 50-year-old white woman was found dead in her home on Mother's Day.
Police now say they have a suspect and have released a police sketch.
The suspect is black.
The woman's husband, who was out of town at the time of the murder, called police after he hadn't heard from his wife.
The sketch shows a man who was seen around the apartment on the day of the crime, but police emphasized that he is not considered a suspect at this time.
"We are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating this person of interest, as well as any information that would help us solve this crime and help the family of Ms. Shal start the healing process," Lt. Steve Dorris said Tuesday at the press conference.
There's still no word on a possible motive and police declined to release details about the crime, citing the integrity of the ongoing investigation.
