DAILYKENN.com -- A group of "black advocates" at Texas Christian University want $100 million for minority students and a "zero-tolerance policy" for "hateful speech."
They also want American flags flown at half-mast every time an unarmed black male is killed by a police officer.
Considering that virtually everyone is a minority of multiple types, we assumed by "minority" the students meant, "non-white."
"Hateful speech" was not defined. It is, after all, relative to one's perspective. American was founded upon the right to free speech and the principle that "I many disagree with what you say, but will defend to death your right to say it."
One could consider the students' demands "hate speech," making their demands mute.
