The sign reads, "Black Rifles Matter."
The sign in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, has prompted one or two tourists to complain, stating they cut their vacation in the area short due to the offensive sign.
In reality, the tourists were likely lying in an effort to turn public sentiment against the property owner who posted the sign.
The sign is a play on the "Black Lives Matter" movement that pretends to be a civil rights effort, but has been linked to the assassinations of five police officers in Dallas, Texas, and numerous other black-on-white acts of violence.
• The strategy is, however, worth noting.
The next time you are on vacation, take note of something offensive posted by liberals, then fire off a letter complaining to local news organizations. Claim you and your wallet are leaving the area due to being offended.
