DAILYKENN.com -- Is 'diversity' a code word for 'hate white people'?

Binghamton University is requiring resident assistants to take a class called "Stop White People." The intent is to help other take the next step in understanding diversity, privilege, and the society we function within."

From news10.com:

Binghamton University is getting some heat of its “#StopWhitePeople2K16” training program for resident assistants.

According to WICZ-TV, the program is designed to help “uneducated” people understand “diversity, privilege and the society we function within.”

The conservative-run periodical Binghamton Review blasted the university’s program.

“This type of rhetoric is commonplace in the university, and has become inseparable from the concept of social justice,” Howard Hecht, a writer for the Binghamton Review, said. “The terrifying implication here is not that students on campus think it is appropriate to call an event by that name, but that the university seems to endorse it as the proper part of RA training.”

NEWS10 ABC reached out to Binghamton University for a comment and are waiting for a response.
