DAILYKENN.com -- John Hennigan, 50, offered to help Tanisha Ford find her way while the mother of two young children was shopping in Harlow, England.
As the two parted, Hennigan said, "I don't agree with inter-racial relationships. I like natural".
When asked what he meant, Hennigan explained, "I prefer white children".
Ford's feelings were hurt and Hennigan was arrested under Britain's anti-social behavior orders (ASBO). Upon conviction the burly Briton was sentenced to 18-months in prison.
ASBO was initiated by Prime Minister Tony Blair in 1998. The orders were used to "correct minor incidents that would not ordinarily warrant criminal prosecution."
Anti-social behavior, according the orders, included homophobia, racism, xenophobia, rudeness, spitting, and other annoyances.
