DAILYKENN.com -- Two males were charged for the murder of a two-year-old boy. They were also charged with attempting to kill the boy's mother, his one-year-old sister and the mother's new boyfriend.
Dead is two-year-old Joseph Bankston.
News reports say Zackery Alexander, 21, knocked on the family door asking for jumper cables. When a man answered the door, Alexander allegedly opened fire. The toddler was fatally shot in his bed. Others in the home were shot as well. Authorities believe Alexander's intent was to kill them all.
Lilly Wi was also charged. Wi was in a custody battle with the boy's mother and had life insurance policies on the toddler, his estranged wife and the couple's one-year-old daughter.
It appears that Wi conspired with Alexander to commit the murders and robbery.
The crime occurred in October, 2015 in Clarksville, Tenn. The indictments were reported March 23, 2016.
