DAILYKENN.com -- Republicans in Michigan sent a resounding message to Mitt Romney. Voters there chose Donald Trump to be their preferred presidential candidate with 36.5% of the vote.
Romney has vociferously been challenging Trump in recent weeks. Apparently his voice has no sound in the ears of Michigan's Republicans.
It seems that attacks from the Republican establishment actually help Trump's candidacy.
Trump also won in Hawaii and Mississippi while Ted Cruz came out ahead in Idaho.
Meanwhile, the Democrats are choosing between an accused criminal and an avowed socialist. The combination — crook and socialist — summerizes the essence of the Democratic Party.
