Little Rock police say a man has died after suffering a stab wound in what is the city's 7th homicide of 2016.

Police responded to a call around 10:15 a.m. Saturday to an abandoned home on East 10th Street. According to LRPD spokeswoman Michelle Hill, part of the crime scene was in the street and they found the victim behind the home.

The white male, whose name and age police have not yet released, had a significant stab wound. MEMS performed CPR on the man and transported him to a local hospital where he later died.

Police have no suspect at this time and are interviewing potential witnesses.
