Why Racism is Wrong | Fatal Flaws of White Nationalism | Why White Supremacy is Wrong | Why Antisemitism Is Dumb

February 18, 2016

DAILYKENN.com -- A female student at Texas A&M University asked visiting high school students if they like her earrings.

That brief encounter touched off a series of events that led to the school immersing itself in flagellation as the school's president and students engaged in a letter-writing campaign of apologies.

The offended high school students allege the female student was wearing Confederate flag earrings, though no one has come forward to confirm the story.

The narrative also suggests that the white female student was joined by other white students who taunted their victims, telling them to go back where they came from.

The alleged incident occurred Feb. 9, 2016. The offended high schoolers were from Uplift Hampton Preparatory and were identified as minorities, though only the race of the offenders — white — was mentioned.
