DAILYKENN.com -- Rebecca Ware went missing over five years ago.

Timothy Lee Johnson, Ware’s ex-boyfriend, pleaded guilty to a charge of second-degree murder last week. Johnson will serve less than 19 years in prison for the crime.

Ware was reported missing Nov. 2, 2010, by her family and was last seen leaving her workplace at Hydro Aluminum on Oct. 29. Her vehicle was found by law enforcement abandoned at the Moultrie Publix in St. Augustine. However, Ware’s body was not found and still hasn’t been located. A St. Johns County grand jury indicted Johnson on a charge of second-degree murder in August 2012. Because investigators didn’t have a body, they waited to make sure there were no indications that Ware was still alive before bringing a case against Johnson. — jacksonville.com
